  1. DAY 01: ... / TRUJILLO

    Fly to Trujillo and transfer to selected hotel for 1 night stay. Immediately after you will explore the Moche Huacas or Pyramids, where you will admire the mysteries, culture and way of life of the ancient Mochicas. Then you will head the fishing town of Huanchaco, known for its caballitos de totora, small boats made out of reed that have been used by fishermen in Peru for 3,000 years for lunch. Finally you will tour the adobe city of Chan Chan, South America’s largest pre-Columbian city, and the former capital of the Chimu culture from  900 to 1470. (Breakfast, Lunch)

  2. DAY 02: TRUJILLO / CHICLAYO

    Drive to Trujillo, visiting the mystical El Brujo Archeological Complex and the Cao Museum en route. Stay 1 night at selected hotel in Chiclayo. Delve into the history of Peru’s ancient Moche people as you tour  El Brujo, where you’ll get to see ancient ruins from the 1st to 8th centuries—the time with the Moche civilization thrived. Marvel at the site’s three intricately decorated temples and explore its museum, where the recently excavated mummy ‘Lady of Cao’ is on display. Before arriving to Chiclayo you will explore Tucume, known as the valley of the pyramid, an 8th-century site encompassing dozens of mounds and pyramids once belonging to the Sican culture. (Breakfast, Box Lunch)

  3. DAY 03: CHICLAYO / ...

    Today you will explore Huaca Rajada, where archeologists discovered the Moche civilization’s Lord of Sipan mummy in 1987. Continue to Lord of Sipán Royal Tombs Museum, home to Moche artifacts including jewelry and headdresses found buried with Lord of Sipan. Then, fly back to Lima and connection back home. End of services. (Breakfast)
